Craving something sweet but still want to stick to your goals? This single-serve protein brownie is the perfect quick treat—rich, fudgy, and ready in minutes. Made with wholesome ingredients like egg and plain Greek yogurt for high-quality protein and creaminess, plus cocoa powder and cinnamon for a boost of antioxidants and flavor without the sugar crash. Protein powder adds even more muscle-fueling power, while walnuts provide heart-healthy fats and a satisfying crunch. A few chocolate chips bring just the right touch of indulgence, making this a balanced, better-for-you dessert you can feel good about.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 C plain greek yogurt
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tbsp whey protein powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1-2 tbsp chocolate chips
  • 1-2 tbsp chopped walnuts (optional)

 

Directions:

  1. Prepare a small microwave safe dish by coating it with a thin layer of avocado oil.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the egg, yogurt, cocoa powder, maple syrup or honey, protein powder and cinnamon.
  3. Mix the chocolate chips and nuts into the brownie batter.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared microwave safe dish.
  5. Microwave on high power 60 - 90 seconds.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes and enjoy.
