Quick Protein Brownies

Craving something sweet but still want to stick to your goals? This single-serve protein brownie is the perfect quick treat—rich, fudgy, and ready in minutes. Made with wholesome ingredients like egg and plain Greek yogurt for high-quality protein and creaminess, plus cocoa powder and cinnamon for a boost of antioxidants and flavor without the sugar crash. Protein powder adds even more muscle-fueling power, while walnuts provide heart-healthy fats and a satisfying crunch. A few chocolate chips bring just the right touch of indulgence, making this a balanced, better-for-you dessert you can feel good about.
Ingredients:
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 C plain greek yogurt
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
- 1 tbsp whey protein powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1-2 tbsp chocolate chips
- 1-2 tbsp chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions:
- Prepare a small microwave safe dish by coating it with a thin layer of avocado oil.
- In a small bowl, mix together the egg, yogurt, cocoa powder, maple syrup or honey, protein powder and cinnamon.
- Mix the chocolate chips and nuts into the brownie batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared microwave safe dish.
- Microwave on high power 60 - 90 seconds.
- Let cool for a few minutes and enjoy.
