Three Tips to Lose Body Fat

It is definitely NOT easy to lose body fat and it takes being in the right stage of readiness to make a behavior change. To help you in this process, try these three tips as you embark on your journey of fat loss.


1. Walk for at least 30 minutes after your last feeding of the day. This will help to reduce blood sugar, helping your body to use more fat as energy. One-hour is ideal but start with 30-minutes to begin making it a habit.


2. Consume only water, or non-caloric, non-caffeinated beverages after your last feeding of the day. Water with electrolyte powder works also. If you did a good job at “front loading” your calories in the first 2/3 of the day, you do not need extra calories later in the day. It’s much better for sleep also!


3. Start your day with consuming at least 30 grams of protein in your first feeding of the day. I know this can be super tough but try foods such as eggs, cottage cheese or protein-rich smoothies. For more ideas, check out my NEW, third edition Metabolic Efficiency Recipe E-book.
