Easy Sweet Potato Fries Recipe

Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these Easy Sweet Potato Fries are a delicious and nutritious side dish or snack that’s hard to resist. Made with sweet potatoes, a rich source of vitamin A and dietary fiber, these fries are lightly tossed in heart-healthy avocado oil and seasoned with simple spices like garlic powder, salt, and pepper for a savory kick. Baked to perfection, they offer a healthier alternative to traditional fries while still satisfying your craving for something crispy and flavorful. 

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium/large sweet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp himalayan salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Wash and peel sweet potatoes. It is easiest to use a mandolin slicer to slice the potatoes into fry shape but it can also be done by hand. Slice into approximately 1/4 inch fries.
  3. Place cut potatoes into a large bowl and add avocado oil and spices. Toss well.
  4. Spread potatoes on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes or until potatoes are soft.
  5. Serve with or without your favorite dipping sauce. 
  6. Enjoy!
