More About Lynsie
Lynsie is a Registered Dietitian (RD) pursuing her board certification in sports dietetics. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the field of sports nutrition. Her journey in sports nutrition began in high school, where she witnessed firsthand the transformative power of nutrition on athletic performance. Lynsie earned her Bachelor's degree in Dietetics and Master's degree in Human Nutrition from Michigan State University (MSU). As a student-athlete on the cross-country and track team at MSU, Lynsie competed at an elite level, earning All-American honors in cross-country and securing a full-ride scholarship. Her experiences as a collegiate runner, including overcoming challenges with low iron levels and injuries, instilled in her the importance of performance nutrition. During her dietetic internship, Lynsie focused on sports nutrition, completing 240 hours of hands-on training at the University of Colorado Boulder. She worked closely with the Director of Sports Nutrition and Olympic sport student-athletes, honing her skills in one-on-one nutrition counseling, hydration and sweat-sodium testing, team education presentations and providing performance-based pre- and post-workout snack planning. She previously served as a seasonal sports dietitian at the University of Virginia where she worked with various student-athletes from sports like football, squash, cross-country, track & field, and rowing. Her expertise in sports nutrition enabled her to conduct hydration and sweat-sodium testing, develop team education programs, and design custom performance nutrition plans. As a sports dietitian, Lynsie's primary objective is to empower athletes to optimize their health and athletic performance through evidence-based nutrition strategies. With her expertise and passion for sports nutrition, Lynsie is dedicated to helping athletes achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
