Bioactive Salad

Nutrigenomics and bioactive foods have been getting quite a bit of press in the past few years and with good reason. Nutrigenomics is the interaction of diet and genes as it pertains to improving health outcomes. Bioactive Salad



  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and toss until well combined
  2. Enjoy.
  • 1 Beet, chopped
  • 2 Cucumbers, peeled and chopped 
  • 3 carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1/2 C rice vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp dill weed
  • black pepper to taste
